Introduction to Creative Kinesiology: Part III

You know that so long as you spread your wings, the winds will carry you.
— C. Joybell C.

The final part of the LifeTracking Foundation was focused on the theme of self-belief for the group as a whole, and for each of us individually.

We were busy preparing our launch pads in order to spread our wings and take flight...

I think this is an important point for any new venture, whether business, personal or self-development. Preparing the ground as you embark on a new journey is a sensible step. This could mean an opportunity to check in with yourself, to identify your goals, and to find any support you might need at this time.

There is also the question of what self-belief means to you?

It can sound like a throwaway phrase - part of a self-help library catalogue! - and one that could be lumped together with self-acceptance or self-esteem.

Through the weekend, the reality and the depth of self-belief, became evident.

To me, self-belief is something located very close to my heart. It is an inner knowing that you have something to offer the world; that your talents and strengths in this lifetime have been perfectly combined for your unique purpose.

When your wings, which would metaphorically sit along your shoulder blades, are open, then your heart must also be open - and vice versa.

It is a force which drives you to follow your bliss, engage in your passions, live creatively, and take risks - because you know that you have courage, confidence and faith in yourself.

Remember when you were a kid? Anything was possible - you could fly like a bird or a plane, you were filled with hope.

Self-belief is your inner joy, your light and your happiness. From self-belief, your dreams become possible.

Self-belief is the power which enables you to stand tall and stay true to your own wisdom, no matter how different your choices may seem to others.

Your belief in yourself is your key to living the life that you want.

Many people live according to other people's expectations, the norms of a culture, or in order to please others. Self-belief is the antidote.

For the LifeTracking group and myself, our dream, purpose and belief is in ourselves as healers, counsellors and kinesiologists. You might dream of being a teacher, an entrepreneur, an environmentalist, a mother etc. Everyone has something great inside of them, and self-belief is the key if your door is not yet open.

To truly thrive in life, is to live with your wings open. Wishing you a happy flight!
